Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) extends profound congratulations to Representative Renny Cushing of New Hampshire. His efforts over more than two decades culminated yesterday, 30 May 2019, when New Hampshire became the 21st U.S. state to abolish the death penalty. This historic achievement is an excellent reminder that it is essential to continue mobilizing against the death penalty, particularly when it is applied disproportionately against minorities and vulnerable groups.
