Chile BWC/CWC Update - The Committee of National Defence of the Chamber of Deputies approved a Draft Bill to Implement the Biological Weapons Convention and Chemical Weapons Convention into domestic Law. PGA Executive Committee Member, Dip. Tucapel Jimenez, submitted 5 suggested amendments ('Indicaciones') to the 'Definition of Crimes' section of the Bill which were all approved by the National Defence Committee on 9th October, 2018. The Bill now goes before plenary of the Chamber of Deputies for a final vote before enactment/promulgation into law.
