Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) is a non-governmental, multi-party network that informs and mobilizes individual legislators in all regions of the world to advance human rights, democracy, gender equality and inclusion, and international peace and security under the Rule of Law.
PGA is a membership-based organization governed by Parliamentarians in which they freely decide to select, develop and undertake an action or a campaign. PGA Members are current legislators from countries where the parliament has true legitimacy and authority, it is undergoing a transition to democracy or from countries in which lawmakers are struggling to promote democratic principles and restore the constitutional order.
The PGA membership is open to individual legislators from elected parliaments worldwide. At present, it consists of approximately 1,200 legislators in 141 multi-party parliaments around the globe. Read our requirements to become a member.
