The Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan of 21 May 1998 partially criminalizes genocide, war crimes, and the crime of aggression. Several underlying acts of these core crimes are not typified, and the country does not punish crimes against humanity.
There are no provisions on cooperation with the International Criminal Court or references to the general principles of criminal law under the Rome Statute.
