Adoption of implementation legislation of the Rome Statute of the ICC |
North Macedonia has adopted full implementing legislation of all core crimes under art. 5 of the Rome Statute via its Criminal Code. The Code also contains provisions concerning the general principles under the Rome Statute, except for the Irrelevance of Official Capacity (art. 27). There is no domestic legislation regulating cooperation with the ICC. However, the Criminal Procedural Code contains specific provisions on cooperation on criminal matters (arts. 128(8), 141(2), and 294(6)).
