Marshall Islands and the Rome Statute
Marshall Islands has recognized the importance of the ICC as a mechanism for peace and international justice, and has committed to promoting the universality and effectiveness ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute, to take the necessary steps towards its ratification and implementation, and to fight against international crime giving it due regard.

Marshall Islands’ Criminal Code does not contain any provision regarding genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, or any of the principles under the Rome Statute. There is no legislation regulating cooperation with the ICC. There are no domestic provisions concerning cooperation with the ICC.
