PGA has produced a new package of user-friendly documents to help parliamentarians and other stakeholders understand some of the key issues affecting LGBTI people and to encourage them to spread a message of inclusion on social media.
The package includes:
Two informative documents:
- A booklet with some of the most common myths about LGBTI people and suggestions on how to respond from a human rights standpoint.
- An advocacy brief about the role of parliamentarians in guaranteeing the right to gender identity.
And two action-oriented practical tools:

(disponibles en anglais) The Equal Rights Coalition (ERC) is an intergovernmental body of 45 Member States dedicated to the protection of the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) persons. The conference brought together over 200 participants providing an opportunity for legislators worldwide to share experiences. Representatives of civil society organizations from Sub-Saharan Africa gathered to discuss challenges and opportunities to advance inclusion and equality of LGBTQI+ persons. Publication
