Norway has adopted full implementing legislation of all core crimes under art. 5 of the Rome Statute via its Penal Code of 2005. The Code omits the principles on the Irrelevance of Official Capacity (art. 27) and Superior Orders and Prescription of Law (art. 33). Norway has enacted the Act No. 65 of 15 June 2001 relating to the implementation of the Statute of the International Criminal Court of 17 July 1998. Furthermore, the Penal Code contains some provisions on cooperation with the ICC (Section 157, 160, and 221).
