With the support of the Council of Europe Cybercrime Division, PGA facilitated participation by PGA Member Hon. Catherine Zainab Tarawally in a Practitioner Workshop at an International Conference Promoting the role of women in preventing, investigating and prosecuting cybercrime in Costa Rica in 2022. Hon. Tarawally has since kept PGA regularly informed on steps being taken that she has encouraged/supported in the Parliament of Sierra Leone, as well as in separate, bilateral periodical interactions she has maintained with the Ministry of Information and Communications,  promoting prompt accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime. The Parliament of Sierra Leone approved accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime on February 8th, 2024.
