PGA Welcomes unanimous approval by Chad's National Assembly of a draft Law authorizing the Ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty
– "I am very pleased that the National Assembly of Chad today voted unanimously with 137 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions, to approve a bill to allow the Government of Chad to ratify the Arms Trade Treaty.
”As a member of PGA who has worked closely with the PGA office in New York and has argued strongly for this outcome for a number of years, I sincerely hope that the Government will deposit the instrument of ratification without delay and before its entry into force on December 24, 2014"
Dep. Théophile M. YOMBOMBE, National Assembly, Chad
